Each year we gather to celebrate Heidi’s spirit by lending a helping hand in the community. We want to remember her beautiful heart and allow her legacy to continue to impact and change our world. These events are a wonderful way to extend our help into the community yet once again, letting others know that we are an organization dedicated to San Antonio and our South Texas area.
In 2010 a group of us volunteered at Morgan’s Wonderland and had an incredible time with the kids and families who were there to experience the world’s first, ultra-accessible, family fun park.
In 2011 we washed over 50 dogs at the Animal Defense League on Nacogdoches Road. It was an amazing event. Heidi’s mother, Teri and sister, Heather, were there to support Heidi’s Helping Hands. Please visit our Facebook page to see the photos.
